   Adsmpipe utility for Windows

Adsmpipe utility originally was developed by IBM to perform online backups of various databases running on Unix platform. This process eliminates dumping data to a file (and consuming disk space). The utility was created for database applications that have no dedicated TSM applications available. The examples of specific databases that have no dedicated TSM applications: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird and OpenLDAP.
Now days all these databases running on Windows platform. In 2007 ISM developed Adsmpipe for Windows.
